JAKARTA. The Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) received an allocation of Rp 120.21 trillion in the 2020 State Budget (APBN).
Basuki Hadimuljono, Minister of PUPR, said that budget will be used for water resources infrastructure development (Rp 43.97 trillion), connectivity (Rp 42.95 trillion), settlements (Rp 22 trillion), and housing (Rp 8.48 trillion). In addition, Rp. 525.18 billion will be used for HR development, Rp. 452 billion for R&D and Rp. 831.19 billion of management support.
Hadimuljono added that the allocation was in accordance with the results of a working meeting with the Commission V of the Indonesian Parliament, in the middle of this month. In addition, he admitted that the allocation of the state budget for the Ministry of PUPR is in accordance with the speech of President Joko Widodo. (KR/AR)
