JAKARTA - Yogyakarta International Airport in Kulonprogo is targeted to be completed in December 2019.

For information, YIA Airport has an area of ​​583.80 ha. The airport passenger terminal is 219,000 m2 and can accommodate up to 20 million passengers / year. The runway size is 3250m2 x 45m and is capable of parking 22 narrow body aircraft / 11 wide body aircraft.

President Jokowi said the flight slots would be given a larger portion for overseas flights, so that more tourists were expected to come to Indonesia, especially to Yogyakarta and surrounding areas. (LM)
