JAKARTA - PT Lippo Karawaci Tbk (LPKR), a property company, has obtained US$ 787.5 million in its private placement conducted in July 2019. With the additional funds, the company is optimistic that it will continue its property projects, including Meikarta.
As quoted from the disclosure of company information, John Riady, CEO of Lippo Karawaci Tbk (LPKR) said that the company's transformation was running quite well. "Private placement has been started, divestment of shares of our hospital in Myanmar has been completed, and we have also reduced our debt, "he said.
On 5 August 2019, the company has paid off its bond that will mature in 2020 worth US$ 75 million. Standard's and Poor's and Fitch, two rating agencies have affirmed LPKR's rating at B- with a stable outlook. (LK/AR)
