JAKARTA. The Budget Agency (Banggar) of the House of Representatives (DPR RI) and the government agreed on an infrastructure development budget of Rp 419.2 trillion. This is 4.9% higher than the realization in 2019 which reached Rp 399.7 trillion.
The budget has not changed from the government's proposal in the 2020 State Budget.
The Director-General of Budget of the Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu), Askolani, explained that most of the budget (Rp 405.1 trillion) will be used for economic infrastructure, higher than this year's allocation of Rp 384.8 trillion.
"This development is certainly done massively both through Ministries / Institutions (K / L), regional governments through DAK (special allocation funds) and village funds, as well as through financing, State Capital Participation (PMN). The combination of infrastructure financing is expected to cover all short-term and long-term development needs, "Askolani said on Tuesday (10/9). (AM/AR)
