JAKARTA. PT Acset Indonusa Tbk (ACST) continues to target a number of new projects that can improve company performance.

Secretary of Acset Indonusa, Maria Cesilia, said that the company would focus on acquiring new projects, including infrastructure projects.

"As of the first semester of this year, acquisition of new contracts reached Rp 1.4 trillion," he said on Wednesday (11/9).

The company has six new contracts, with the largest one coming from the Soma Karimun Steam Power Plant (PLTU) project with a capacity of 2 x 25 MW, followed by the Jawa I Civil Works Gas and Steam Power Plant (PLTGU) , Runoff Pond at PLTU Batang, Skysuites Mega Kuningan, Jakarta International Collage, and PT Bayer Indonesia.

In the first semester of 2019, the subsidiary of Astra generated Rp 1.55 trillion in revenue, 7% lower compared to the same period last year. The decline was caused by the decline in revenue from the infrastructure sector as the project was almost complete. In that period, ACST also recorded a loss of Rp 404.57 billion. (AM/AR)
