JAKARTA. The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) tries to tighten the supervision of coal mining and marketing activities, by releasing the Sales Verification Module (MVP) application.
Bambang Gatot Ariyono, said that this application will help improve the monitoring process of the production and sales data of all coal companies. In addition, said Ariyono, this application can help regulators in reducing violations related to coal production and sales. "There are companies whose production comes from nowhere, then they can sell, they don't have RKAB documents," Ariyono was quoted as saying by Kontan at the weekend (15/9).
Ariyono added that with tighter supervision, state revenue from the mineral and coal sector could be more optimal. "So it is verified according to regulations, and the supervision of coal production and sales can be effective and efficient," explained Ariyono. (KR/AR)
