19 September 2019 04:22

JAKARTA. Healthcare Social Security Agency (BPJS Kesehatan), manager of National Health Insurance (JKN), has an unpaid debt to PT Indofarma Tbk (Persero) that has reached Rp 60 billion as of August 2019.

Indofarma itself is a supplier of medicines to hospitals that become partners of BPJS Kesehatan.

Director of Finance and Human Capital of Indofarma, Herry Triyatno, stated on Wednesday (18/09/2019) stated that BPJS debt covers half of the company's total receivables of Rp 120 billion.

Herry hoped that BPJS Kesehatan could pay off its debt soon. In addition, he asked the government to intervene and cover the debts.

Now, Indofarma's management will continue to wait for the repayment of BPJS' debt, and hopes that it will not interfere with the cooperation or synergy that has been built up. (AM/AR)
