JAKARTA - PT Super Energy Tbk (SURE) showed positive performance in the first half of 2019 with an increase in revenue and a decrease in the cost of revenue. In the first half of this year, the company posted a profit of Rp 6.73 billion, up post-loss of Rp 35.51 billion in the first half of last year.
Based on this year's midterm financial report, Super Energy earned revenue of Rp 144.13 billion, up compared to the same period last year of Rp 122.59 billion. Meanwhile gross profit of Rp. 62.54 billion, up from Rp. 38.87 billion. This increase was due to a decrease in the cost of goods from Rp 86.92 billion to Rp 81.59 billion.
In addition to the increase in revenue, this year's profit was due to foreign exchange gain of Rp 8.61 billion. Whereas in the first half of last year, foreign exchange losses reached Rp 22.43 billion. Operating profit was recorded at Rp 35.40 billion, up from an operating loss of Rp 18.50 billion.
The increase in revenue was contributed from the increase in LPG sales to Rp 37.41 billion from Rp 23.03 billion, CNG and Services from Rp 73.14 billion to Rp 84.96 billion. However, condensate sales declined from Rp 26.42 billion to Rp 21.73 billion. (LK)
