JAKARTA - PT Sumber Energi Alam Minera (SEAM), known as the SEAM Group, has signed a partnership with XCMG Mining Machinery Co., Ltd for the procurement of heavy equipment. This collaboration is carried out since SEAM Group has expanded its business focus from Katingan, Central Kalimantan to Muara Badak, East Kalimantan.
For information, the mine owned by SEAM Group in East Kalimantan is ready for production, thus the company needs heavy equipment for operational activities. Cooperation between the two parties includes the provision of 150 mining dump trucks, 13 XE3000 Excavator Crawlers, 17 XE1300C Excavator Crawlers and 2 XE900D Excavator Crawlers.
Asep Sulaeman Sabanda, CEO of SEAM Group stated, "We are confident with the support of XCMG as the largest SOE in China and the 6th largest in the world, SEAM Group's operational activities will run smoothly and the company will be able to produce more optimally."
This collaboration between SEAM Group and XCMG will last for 5 years, starting from 2019 to 2023. Previously, XCMG has provided equipment that are also used for SEAM Group operational activities in Kalimantan, namely the XE1250 Excavator and XE900D Crawler Excavator. (LM)
