PT INTI to mass-produce LPG Composite canisters

JAKARTA - PT Industri Telekomunikasi Indonesia (Persero) (INTI) is ready to produce Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG) Composite, for the first time in Indonesia. For information, PT INTI will collaborate with PT Sucofindo and PT Dinamika Utama Jaya.

"The production of fiber composite gas canisters is the first in Indonesia. This is a form of tangible contribution from PT INTI (Persero) to build the independence of the domestic industry. We are targeting this production facility to be ready for operation in February 2020,” said PT INTI (Persero) Managing Director Darman Mappangara in a press release.

In this partnership, PT INTI (Persero) will provide factory facilities and infrastructure for the production of Composite LPG canisters, PT Dinamika Utama Jaya will design production facilities and infrastructure, while PT Sucofindo (Persero) will be supervising quality control based on information technology systems against goods that have been made, as well as supervision when distributing and filling LPG Composite canisters.

The plan is that the production of the Composite LPG canisters will be centered at a factory that operates on an 80,000 square meter land owned by PT INTI (Persero), in Jalan Moch. Toha No. 225, Bandung. In the initial stages of production, the Composite LPG canisters which has been licensed by Hyundai BS&E will be produced in two shifts, with an average capacity of around 1,000-1,200 canisters per day, in one production line.
