JAKARTA. Nominated PT Bio Farma CEO Honesti Basyir said that the official establishment of the state-owned pharmaceutical holding company has reached 95% and is still awaiting for President Joko Widodo's formal approval.
Mr Basyir, who formerly served as CEO of PT Kimia Farma (Persero) Tbk (KAEF), has been officially appointed as CEO of Bio Farma.
Newly appointed Kimia Farma CEO Verdi Budidarmo asserted that Kimia Farma will remain the primary driver of Bio Farma as the parent of the state-owned pharmaceutical holding company. (AM/MS)
