JAKARTA - PT Optima Prima Metal Sinergi Tbk (OPMS) today (9/23) is officially listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). At the initial trading, OPMS was observed to rise 68.89% from an initial price of Rp 135 per share to Rp 228.
"We are grateful to be able to be a part in the procurement of raw materials for the steel industry in Indonesia. So as to reduce dependence on imported raw materials amid high infrastructure program needs," said Optima Prima President Commissioner Suhardi Wijaya as quoted from Bisnis.
In this IPO, OPMS released 400 million new shares to the public or equal to 40% of the company's total issued and fully paid up capital. The company is predicted to be able to reap fresh funds up to Rp 54 billion which will be used to strengthen working capital. (LM)
