JAKARTA - The weak automotive market caused PT Bintraco Dharma Tbk’s (CARS) revenue to drop in the first half of 2019.
Throughout 1H, CARS’s revenue fell 2.38% year on year (yoy) to Rp 3.68 trillion while its net profit dropped 40.6% yoy to Rp 85.01 billion. As reported by Kontan.co.id on Tuesday (24/9), CARS Investor Relations said that the company’s performance decline was in line with the national automotive industry which fell 13% during the period.
However, CARS was able to maintain its market share in Central Java and Yogyakarta at 30%. (AM/MS)
