Kimia Farma prepares Rp 100 billion for outlet expansion

JAKARTA. PT Kimia Farma (Persero) Tbk (KAEF) will expand its beauty and health outlets with an investment of Rp 100 billion until the end of 2019.

Verdi Budidarmo, Director of KAEF, said the plan is in line with the developing food and beauty supplements market. His party projected the market value of food supplements from 2020 to 2021 to reach around Rp 20 trillion to Rp 25 trillion.

"For the development of this (outlets) alone, we have prepared funds of Rp 50 billion to Rp 100 billion," Budidarmo said as quoted by Kontan on Monday (30/9) today.

As of August 2019, KAEF revenue grew by 30.95% to Rp 6.1 trillion. By the end of this year, the company aims to generate Rp 11.5 trillion in revenue, or 45% more than the figure recorded in the 2018 fiscal year. (KR/AR)
