JAKARTA - Fadjroel Rachman, President Commissioner of PT Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk (ADHI) is officially appointed as the Presidential Spokesperson of the Republic of Indonesia for President Joko Widodo's (Jokowi) second term. "It's been signed," he said in an interview with Metro TV, today (22/10).
According to him, to prepare for the new position, he will consult a number of former presidential spokespersons, such as Wimar Witoelar and Johan Budi. "Hopefully I can learn a lot from former presidential spokespersons, such as Wimar Witoelar. I have to talk to Mr Johan Budi who is accompanying the President (Jokowi) as his spokesperson," he said.
According to him, in President Jokowi's second term, all information from the State Palace is likely to flow from one line. "If it will be delivered directly, it will, but there are other things needed by the President, such as the development of information. Because there may be many questions, I will help deliver it to the public," he said.
He said that this is the second time President Jokowi asked him to fill a position. Previously, he was appointed by President Jokowi as the President Commissioner of PT Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk (ADHI) to oversee infrastructure development. (LK/AR)
