Trans Sumatra project is aided with Rp 10.5 trillion of PMN

JAKARTA. PT Hutama Karya will speed up the construction of the Trans Sumatra Toll Road, after receiving an injection of State Capital Participation (PMN) funds of Rp 10.5 trillion.

Muhammad Fauzan, Corporate Secretary of Hutama Karya, said that the funds were still in the disbursement stage. "It is already in the final stage of the administrative process in the relevant ministries," Fauzan said as reported by Kontan on Wednesday (23/10) yesterday.

Fauzan added that the funds will be used to build 8 priority segments in the Trans Sumatra project. The 8 segments are Pekanbaru-Dumai, Kisaran-Indrapura, Terbanggi Besar-Pematang Panggang, Pematang Panggang-Kayu Agung, Kuala Tanjung-Tebing Tinggi-Parapat, Binjai-Langsa, Bukittinggi-Padang, and Simpang Indralaya-Muara Enim.

In addition, Fauzan admitted that his party had not yet targeted other projects. Because the company still has a mandate to build 24 segments of Trans Sumatra toll road from the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) since 2016. (KR/AR)
