Angela Tanoesoedibjo resigns as Commissioner of MNC Investama

JAKARTA - Angela Herliani Tanoesoedibjo submitted her resignation as Commissioner of PT MNC Investama Tbk (BHIT) after being appointed as Deputy Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy for the period of 2019-2024. By relinquishing the position of commissioner, it is hoped that there will be no conflict of interest when she is serving as deputy minister.

As quoted from the company disclosure, Angela Tanoesoedibjo submitted her resignation as commissioner after being appointed by President Jokowi as one of the deputy ministers in its new cabinet on 25 October 2019.  Angela's resignation was announced on October 28, 2019.

As is known, Angela Herliani is the daughter of Hary Tanoesoedibjo, owner of the MNC Group. In this company, Angela has a 0.10% stake. (LK/AR)
