JAKARTA - PT Trisula Textile Industries Tbk (BELL) posted a net profit hike off 15% year on year (yoy) to Rp 22.61 billion in the first nine months (9M) of 2019.
In addition, BELL’s sales also surged 27% yoy in the period, supported by domestic sales which grew 30%. In total, domestic sales contributed 96% to the company’s total sales.
As previously reported by IDNFinancials.com, PT Trisula International Tbk (TRIS) is scheduled to acquire a 78.52% stake in BELL by December 2, 2019. According to BELL CEO Karsongo Wongso Djaja, the corporate action aims to create a synergy that will result in more competitive garment and textile products.
“In line with our efforts to improve the quality of our products, we are optimistic that our target in 2019 can be achieved,” said Mr Djaja in an official statement, Thursday (31/10). (MS)
