JAKARTA - PT MD Pictures Tbk (FILM) invested Rp 20 billion for PT Barakuda Film Galeri Indonesia. Barracuda is an equipment rental company that MD Pictures wants to develop.
MD Pictures' Jakarta Film Studio located in Ceger has many facilities such as post production, four mix, grading, and has the first Dolby Atmos in Indonesia.
"That's what we want to develop, so that film production in Indonesia will have better quality," said President Director MD Pictures Manoj Dhamoo Punjabi to IDNfinancials.com.
The investment value for Barracuda in the initial stage is around Rp 20 billion. However, MD Pictures might also consider future expansion depending on demand and needs. The investment will be used to purchase camera, lens, lamps and other equipment to support film production. (LM)
