Garuda Indonesia received its first A330-900 aircraft

JAKARTA - PT Garuda Indonesia Tbk (GIAA) has received its first A330-900. This aircraft is one of 14 A330-900 aircraft ordered by Garuda Indonesia.

At present, Garuda Indonesia operates 24 A330 aircraft for regional and long-haul flights. Garuda Indonesia's A330-900 is configured for 301 passengers divided into two classes, with 24 seats in business class and 277 seats in economy class.

A330neo is a new generation of A330 which is available in two versions, namely A330-800 and A330-900. The A330neo family has a 95% similarity rate to the previous A330 version.

For information, the A330neo is driven by the latest generation Rolls-Royce Trent 7000 engine and features a new wing with a wider range, and Sharklet (wingtip) which adopts A350 XWB technology. The A330neo cabin brings comfort from the Airspace cabin facilities, including an in-flight entertainment system and the latest generation of Wi-Fi connectivity. (LM)
