The revenue of Southeast Asian e-commerce sites rises due to 11.11 momentum

JAKARTA. AppsFlyer, a mobile attribution & marketing analytics platform from the United States, announced revenue growth of leading e-commerce sites in Southeast Asia, thanks to the 11.11 momentum.

Ronen Mense, President & Managing Director of APAC AppsFlyer, explained that in-app sales in 11.11 in 2019 was 133% higher than in 2018. In addition, according to AppsFlyer data, conversion due to retargeting also rose by 87% at 11.11 this year.

"This shows the companies' efforts to shift their marketing focus, from traditional to paid data-based measurement," Mense explained to idnfinancials.com earlier this week.

In addition, AppsFlyer also recorded the number of in-app purchases in 11.11 this year is 111% higher than last year. Mense hopes that e-commerce businesses in Southeast Asia will start using mobile application behaviour analysis platform to develop their business.

"We hope this method can be the basis of future application marketing efforts, especially in Southeast Asia," said Mense. (KR/AR)
