Bank Mandiri Taspen plans to issue bonds

JAKARTA. PT Bank Mandiri Taspen, a subsidiary of PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (BMRI), plans to issue bonds with a total value of Rp 1 trillion with a fixed interest rate of 8.20%.

According to the information from Indonesian Central Securities Depository (KSEI), the bonds are part of Bank Mandiri Taspen's Shelf Registration Bonds I with a total value of Rp 4 trillion. At the first phase, Bank Mandiri Taspen will issue Rp 1 trillion worth of bonds in two series, Series A (Rp 700 billion) and Series B (Rp 300 billion).

The Series A bonds are planned to be issued with a 3-year tenor with a fixed interest rate of 7.9%, while for Series B, it has a 5-year tenor and a fixed interest rate of 8.20%. The company has obtained permission from the Financial Services Authority (OJK) to issue the bonds.

The offering period is from 19-21 November 2019. Bank Mandiri Taspen appoints a number of underwriters, including Mandiri Sekuritas, BCA Sekuritas, BNI Sekuritas, and Danareksa Sekuritas. (KR/AR)
