JAKARTA. PT Samindo Resources Tbk (MYOH) is trying to diversify its business to the new and renewable energy (EBT) sector, to anticipate the decline in its coal business.
Head of Investor Relations of MYOH, Ahmad Zaki Natsir, revealed that his party had begun participating in several tenders for Solar Power Plant (PLTS) and Steam Power Plant (PLTU) projects.
"Actually, the business is not really running yet. We are still participating in the electricity tenders held by the government, "Zaki said as quoted by Kontan on Tuesday (19/11).
Zaki further explained that MYOH believes that the prospect in the new and renewable energy sector is quite good, considering the level of competition is not too tight. (AM/AR)
