JAKARTA - PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (Persero) has generated Rp 10.87 trillion in current year's profit by the third quarter (Q3) of 2019. For information, by Q3 2018, the company had lost Rp 18.46 trillion.
As quoted from the company's financial statements, this may caused by the growth in the company's operating income, from Rp 200.91 trillion to Rp 209.29 trillion.
PLN's pre-subsidy loss fell from Rp 23.08 trillion to Rp 22.60 trillion. As a result, the company's profit after subsidy rose from Rp 16.69 trillion to Rp 37.77 trillion. (LK/AR)
