JAKARTA. PT Distribusi Voucher Nusantara Tbk (DIVA), a distributor of vouchers and digital solutions for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), has attracted the attention of 2 venture capital firms, thanks to the growth of its business in Indonesia.
Handiman Soetoyo, an analyst from Mirae Asset Sekuritas, said that DIVA has run a business model based on cooperation with other companies, unlike most digital businesses in Indonesia. "They're not 'burning money', so it can make a profit from the start," Soetoyo said through a written statement.
Even so, Soetoyo listed a number of risks that could potentially affect DIVA's business. Starting from the slow execution, development of technology and digital security, business competition, to government regulations.
The 2 venture capital firms interested in DIVA's business model are Kejora Ventures and InterVest. "We look forward to how Kejora-InterVest will synergize its investment portfolio to accelerate DIVA's business growth," explained Soetoyo. (KR/AR)
