JAKARTA. PT Prasidha Aneka Niaga Tbk (PSDN) still recorded losses until the third quarter (Q3) of 2019, due to weakening commodity prices.
Lie Sukiantono Budinarta, Finance Director of PSDN, admitted that the price of the crumb rubber segment has not yet recovered. "Commodity prices in the international market are still low due to the trade war between the United States and China," Budinarta said as reported by Kontan on Thursday (28/11) today.
According to its financial statements, PSDN's net sales were recorded at Rp 988.86 billion by Q3 2019, 3.79% lower than the figure recorded in the same period last year. 58% of the company's net sales came from rubber commodities.
PSDN expects its crumb rubber sales to reach 44,000 tons by the end of this year. Meanwhile, the realization of crumb rubber sales up to Q3 2019 is still far from the target (28.509 tons). (KR/AR)
