JAKARTA - PT Fajar Surya Wisesa Tbk (FASW) estimated that its sales revenue for this year would reach Rp 8 trillion, lower than its record last year of Rp 9.93 trillion.
As quoted from the company's public expose, the lower projection is caused by lower export due to the trade wars between the US and China. Therefore, the company will continue to increase domestic sales.
As of Q3 2019, FASW's sales were recorded at Rp 6.36 trillion, lower than its record in Q3 2018 (Rp 7.45 trillion). The company's operating profit and net profit also fell to Rp 1.24 trillion and Rp 806 billion respectively.
The company's sales revenue from the domestic market reached Rp 5.36 trillion, while its revenue from Asia reached Rp 979.72 billion, followed by Africa (Rp 9.14 billion), the Middle East (Rp 329.40 million), and other countries (Rp 463.14 million). (LK/AR)
