JAKARTA. Matrix Concepts Holdings Berhad, the largest property developer in Malaysia, is inviting a number of Malaysian banks to become tenants at Menara Syariah, which was built at the Indonesian Islamic Financial Centrr.
"Today, we have many Islamic banks in Indonesia," said Dato Haslah, Chairman of the Matrix Concepts Holdings, during the groundbreaking of Menara Syariah in Jakarta on Sunday (8/12). "We continue to maintain relationship with them," he added.
Meanwhile, Harianto Solichin, President Director of PT Nikko Sekuritas Indonesia, explained that the developer of the Islamic Financial Centre has lobbied a number of large tenants. However, he was reluctant to mention any names, since the project is still in the groundbreaking stage.
"After the topping off, the potential tenants will be invited. We cannot convey the data now because it is confidential, "Solichin explained on the same occasion.
For information, Nikko is one of the shareholders of PT Fin Centerindo Satu, a joint venture that developed the Islamic Financial Centre. Nikko and Matrix Concept each have a 30% stake in Fin Centerindo Satu. (KR/AR)
