Kartika Wirjoatmodjo is appointed as President Commissioner of Bank Mandiri

JAKARTA. During the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGMS) of PT Bank Mandiri Tbk, it was decided to appoint Royke Tumilaar as President Director to replace Kartika Wirjoatmodjo. Kartika Wirjoatmodjo herself was appointed as President Commissioner.

The EGMS also agreed to the appointment of Silvano Rumantir as Director of Finance and Strategy. The young banker was considered able to help improve the development of the company. 

Meanwhile, the Chairman of the Mandiri Institute who is also the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia (2013-2014), Muhamad Chatib Basri, was appointed as Vice President Commissioner.

Corporate Secretary of Bank Mandiri, Rohan Hafas said that Bank Mandiri had an excellent human resource development system, so that the succession of leadership came entirely from within the company.

"This is our motivation to continue to grow consistently and make a positive contribution, both in terms of business and human resources, for the development of Indonesia's financial industry and economy going forward," Rohan said at Plaza Mandiri on Monday (09/12). (AM/AR)
