JAKARTA. The Indonesian government gave a signal to prospective investors that want to invest in the Bontang Refinery, after announcing the presence of investors from the United Arab Emirates.

Luhut Pandjaitan, Coordinating Minister for Maritime and Investment Affairs, said that the composition of investors in the Bontang Refinery project is still changing. "Later, investors from Abu Dhabi will enter," Pandjaitan said, as quoted by Bisnis Indonesia on Tuesday (11/12) yesterday.

For information, the Bontang Refinery development project is currently being worked on by PT Pertamina (Persero), who works with a company from Oman, Overseas Oil and Gas (OOG) LLC.

OOG will work on the construction of the refinery. Meanwhile, Pertamina obtained golden shares and became an offtaker of several products processed at the Bontang Refinery. (KR/AR)
