JAKARTA. PT Waskita Beton Precast Tbk (WSBP) posted a new contract value of Rp 5.9 trillion as of November 2019, up 21% year on year (yoy) from Rp 4.9 trillion. 60% of the amount was obtained from external projects.
"This was supported by Rp 3.6 trillion in external contracts," said WSBP Chief Marketing Officer Agus Wantoro.
According to Mr Wantoro, the value of the company's external contracts soared 105% from Rp 1.7 trillion in November 2018. "The achievement surpassed WSBP's target of 40%," he added.
The external projects are the Trans-Sumatra Toll Road, Pertamina Balikpapan's Refinery Development Master Plan (RDMP) in cooperation with Hyundai, and the Modernland Apartment project in Jakarta Garden City.
In addition, WSBP has also obtained a recurring order for Tetrapod products for the Coast Guard Project in Singapore worth Rp 217.5 billion, bringing the total Tetrapod order value for the project to Rp 435 billion. (AM/MS)
