JAKARTA. PT Bank BRI Syariah Tbk (BRIS) is working with PT Investree Radhika Jaya, to provide Rp 50 billion in financing through Investree, a Peer to Peer (P2P) Lending platform.
Fidri Arnaldy, Director of Retail Business at BRI Syariah, said that the collaboration is the pilot project for its financing program at Investree. "BRI Syariah wants to help SMEs or other business entities to obtain financing," Arnaldy said as quoted by Kontan on Thursday (12/12) yesterday.
Meanwhile, Adrian Gunadi, Co-Founder and CEO of Investree, said that currently, 10% of Investree's loan portfolio comes from Islamic products. Until now, Investree has disbursed Rp 4.2 trillion of financing.
With this collaboration, Investree can provide more micro-financing faster. If previously Investree needed 9 days to provide one, now it only takes about 1 day. (KR/AR)
