JAKARTA - The Ministry of State-owned Enterprises (SOEs) is planning to rearrange the board of directors of PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) or KAI.

According to Special Staffer to SOE Minister Arya Sinulingga, the rearrangement aims to adjust directors’ background with their positions. “There will not be many changes, and there will be no reduction or addition to the board of directors. We aim to put the right people in the right places,” said Mr Sinulingga as quoted by Bisnis.com, Monday (16/12).

The rearrangement, Mr Sinulingga added, will be made official at the state-owned railway company’s AGM in due time.

“Hopefully [the AGM] can be held this year,” he said.
