JAKARTA. The Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) through the Center for Housing Financing Management Funds (BLU PPDPP) appointed 37 banks to distribute Housing Finance Liquidity Facility (FLPP) for 2020 fiscal year of Rp 11 trillion.

The 37 banks consist of 10 conventional and Islamic national banks, and 27 Regional Development Banks (BPD). According to the Managing Director of PPDPP, Arief Sabaruddin, the number of banks appointed was lower than in 2018 (39). There is a new bank appointed, PT BNI Syariah (Persero).

"While the three banks that did not reach the target last year, we will not continue (the cooperation)," Arief was quoted as saying by Kompas.com.

BTN gets the largest portion (39%), because the specific business of BTN is housing. (AM/AR)
