JAKARTA - Trade data of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) last week showed a positive indicator, starting from the average transaction value which recorded an increase of 30.56 percent to Rp 9.504 trillion from Rp 7.279 trillion compared to previous week.
The average transaction volume also increased by 57.08 percent to 15.382 billion unit shares from 9.758 billion unit shares on previous week. Then the next increase was in the average transaction frequency data which showed an increase of 4.49 percent to 495,538 transactions from 474,227 thousand transactions at the previous week's close.
The increase was also shown by the Composite Stock Price Index (CSPI) this week of 1.40 percent to 6,284,372 from 6,197,318 at previous week’s closing. Following the JCI, the market capitalization value also increased by 1.54 percent to Rp 7,246.949 trillion from Rp 7,136.704 trillion at the previous week's close.
Throughout 2019, foreign investors still recorded a net purchase of Rp 47.828 trillion and foreign investors today recorded a net purchase of Rp 2,794.18 billion. (LM)
