JAKARTA. PT Fast Food Indonesia Tbk (FAST), the owner of the KFC brand in Indonesia, has set three strategies to achieve sales growth target of 14.1% to Rp 8 trillion in 2020.

The target is Rp 1 trillion higher than this year's projection.

According to KFC Indonesia Director Shivashish Pandey, the company has prepared three strategies to realise the target. First, the company will speed up the development of outlets, targeted to reach 753 by the end of the year, which is expected to boost its full-year sales next year. The company also plans to add 20 new outlets and five new KFC Box outlets in 2020.

Second, KFC Indonesia will strengthen its branding strategy through image management in the form of rennovation of outlets that are over five years in age. In total, the company plans to rennovate 150 outlets in 2020.

"Image management will attract transactions and boost sales," said Mr Pandey at a public expose at the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) Building, Monday (23/12). Lastly, the company will also launch several new products. (AM/MS)
