JAKARTA. PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTM) will maximize the production of three main commodities, gold, nickel and bauxite, to improve its performance in 2020.
Senior Vice President Corporate Secretary of PT Aneka Tambang Tbk, Kunto Hendrapawoko said that the company could not yet disclose its projected financial performance growth in 2020. The certain this is that ANTM will try to maintain and improve its performance.
As of Q3 2019, ANTM recorded revenue growth of 13% (YoY) to Rp 24.54 trillion. However, the company's net profit actually fell by 11% (YoY) to Rp 631.13 billion.
To boost the production of the three commodities, ANTM seeks to innovate in precious metal products. This has actually been done since last year, where ANTM launched several gold product variants in order to increase added value for its consumers.
ANTM is also trying to improve the performance of the gold commodity in the upstream sector, with a focus on working on the gold mine project in Ciarinem, located at the foot of Mount Salak, West Java. (AM/AR)
