2019 state revenue realisation reaches Rp 1,957.2 trillion

JAKARTA - State revenue realisation in 2019 was recorded at Rp 1,957.2 trillion, 90.4% of the State Budget target, with a 0.7% increase from 2018.

“Amid pressure from the unconducive global economic environment in 2019, we managed to maintain economic growth above 5%,” said Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati at a press conference at the Ministry of Finance, Tuesday (7/1).

The 2019 state revenue realisation consisted of Rp 1,545.3 trillion in tax revenue (86.5% of the Budget target), Rp 405 trillion in non-tax state revenue (107.1% of the Budget target), and Rp 6.8 trillion in grants. Tax revenue in 2019 grew 1.7% from the 2018 realisation with influence from the global economic slowdown that affected the national economy.

Meanwhile, non-tax state revenue realisation, which surpassed the Budget target, was affected by the performance of separated wealth revenue, particularly from Bank Indonesia’s (BI) surplus and the contribution of non-tax state revenue from ministries and government agencies amid lower oil and gas revenue, which was affected by the Indonesian Crude Price (ICP), and low coal prices.
