JAKARTA. PT Siantar Top Tbk (STTP) plans to raise the price of some of its snack products, to deal with inflation.
Armin, Director of STTP, said that to compensate this, volume and snack products and packaging will be changed.
Armin explained the changes in the price of snack products had been decided with also considering the purchasing power of people in Indonesia. The reason is that STTP has raised the price of one of its snack products from Rp 100 to Rp 200, but the reaction in the traditional market was negative.
So far, Armin sees an opportunity to raise its products in the modern market. "If in the modern market, it is still possible," he said. (KR/AR)
