Approximately 27 companies will conduct their IPO this year

JAKARTA - After four companies officially listed their first shares on the capital market in early 2020, there are at least 27 more companies that are planning to list their shares on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX).

As is known, there were four companies that had listed their shares in January 2020; PT Tourindo Guide Indonesia Tbk (PGJO), PT Bank Amar Indonesia Tbk (AMAR), PT Cisadane Sawit Raya Tbk (CSRA), and PT Royalindo Investa Wijaya Tbk (INDO). 

INDO is the 4th issuer that listed its shares by offering a total of 861,820,000 shares,  20% of the company's issued and paid-up capital. 

Director of Corporate Valuation of IDX, I Gede Nyoman Yetna Setya, said that there are 27 companies plan to conduct an IPO. Those companies have submitted the documents required for an IPO. At least 40% of the 27 companies are large ones with assets above Rp 250 billion.

The 27 companies engage in various industrial sectors, including plantations, consumer goods, property, finance, trade, and investment. Some of them have done mini exposures on the IDX. (ARM/AR)
