JAKARTA. PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI), also known as BRI, recorded that its total commission income from BRILink agents in 2019 was recorded at Rp 788.7 billion.
Hari Purnomo, Corporate Secretary of BBRI, said that as of 2019, there were 422,160 registered BRILink agents, 5.13% higher than its record in 2018.
"In 2019, there were 56 new BRILink agents every day," Purnomo said as quoted by Kontan on Tuesday (14/1). "They also managed to record 521 million financial transactions with a growth of 38%," he added.
Purnomo added that commission income from BRILink agents contributed to BRI's low-cost funds. Until the end of last year, BRI recorded the acquisition of low-cost funds of Rp 8.4 trillion. (KR/AR)
