JAKARTA - A subsidiary of PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk, PT Wijaya Karya Bangunan Gedung Tbk. (WEGE) only realized 80.1% of its new contract target for 2019, mainly due to the unstable political situation last year.
Corporate Secretary of WEGE, Bobby Iman Setya, as quoted from Bisnis on Thursday (16/1), said that last year, the company did not revise the target because there were strong hopes to achieve it.
However, he explained, due to the effect of the political situation on the construction sector, the company only realized 80.1% of its new contract target for 2019 of Rp 11.98 trillion.
For 2020, the company is aiming to record 15% to 25% growth from the realisation recorded in 2019. (ARM/AR)
