Wijaya Karya confident in positive cash flow in 2019

17 January 2020 15:33

JAKARTA. PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk (WIKA) is optimistic that it will record a positive cash flow for the end of 2019 following Rp 10 trillion in cash inflows.

According to WIKA CEO Tumiyana, the positive cash flow is supported by the Rp 10 trillion inflows, dominated by the payment of the Balikpapan-Samarinda toll road.

"[We believe we will record] a positive cash flow in 2019, because in December we had Rp 10 trillion in cash inflows," said Mr Tumiyana last weekend.

In addition, the company also targets a gearing ratio of below 1 time and a debt to equity ratio (DER) of 2.2 times.

The company, said Mr Tumiyana, will be more prudent in selecting turnkey projects, although no particular limit has been set. (AM/MS)
