Wijaya Karya's cash flow in 2019 is estimated to be positive

20 January 2020 10:41

JAKARTA. PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk (WIKA) is estimated to be able to record positive cash flow for 2019, due to the Rp 10 trillion revenue received by the company in December 2019.

Nafan Aji, analyst from Binaartha Sekuritas, said that the revenue also has the potential to improve WIKA's cash flow. "Thus, the company does not need to issue debt securities to restructure previous debts," explained Aji as reported by Kontan on Monday (20/1) today.

In addition, Aji explained that WIKA has used Building Information Modeling (BIM) technology in its projects. This technology is believed to be able to improve the efficiency of WIKA's work.

At present, WIKA has 80 projects that use BIM technology, including Balikpapan-Samarinda Toll Road and the renovation of the Nigerian Presidential Palace. (KR/AR)
