Zulkifli Zaini resigns from Bank Permata

JAKARTA - Zulkifli Zaini resigned from his position as Independent Commissioner of PT Bank Permata Tbk (BNLI), following his appointment as President Director of PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (Persero).

As quoted from the company's disclosure, Katharina Grace, Corporate Secretary of PT Bank Permata Tbk (BNLI) said that Zaini submitted his resignation letter on 17 January 2020. 

Zaini began to be known as one of the best bankers in Indonesia since he became the President Director of PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (BMRI) (2010-2013). After that, he was appointed as Independent Commissioner of PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBNI) (2015-2019).

On 23 December 2019, the Ministry of SOE appointed Zaini as President Director of PLN, replacing Inten Cahyani. (LK/AR)
