AP II starts to manages three new airports

JAKARTA - PT Angkasa Pura (Persero) II is operating three new airports (airports) submitted by the Directorate General of Air Transportation at the Ministry of Transportation. With the addition of these three airports, AP II officially operates 19 airports.

As quoted from the disclosure of corporate information, yesterday (21/1), Deni Krisnobowo, Senior VP of Corporate Secretary of PT Angkasa Pura (Persero) II, said that the acceptance of the three airports has an impact on the potential for additional revenue and additional cost burdens, among others, human resources, infrastructure , facilities and operations.

The three new airports to be managed are Class I Radin Inten II Airport, Lampung, Fatmawati Soekarno Class I Airport, Bengkulu, and Class I H. Hanandjoeddin Airport, Tanjung Pandan. AP II received the agreement on cooperation in the utilization of state-owned goods (KSP) on January 21, 2020. Previously, the signing of the operational transfers of the three airports was signed by the Managing Director of AP II Muhammad Awaluddin and the Director General of Air Transportation of the Ministry of Transportation, Polana Pramesti.
