JAKARTA - Composite Stock Price Index (JCI) closed trading session I today (1/23) at 6,221.88. The index edged up 8.44 points, or 0.14%, from the last closing at 6,233.45.
Until this afternoon, JCI was observed to move in the range of 6,229.13 and 6,252.99. Four sectors fell, namely the trade, mining, agriculture and infrastructure sectors. The remaining six other sectors strengthened with the biggest increase in the basic industrial sector.
The top gainers in the trading session I were PT Saranacentral Bajatama Tbk (BAJA), PT Gunawan Dianjaya Steel Tbk (GDST) and PT Nusantara Pelabuhan Handal Tbk (PORT). (LM)
