DAVOS - On the third day of the World Economic Forum (WEF) Annual Meeting in Davos, Switzerland, the Minister of Communication and Information Johnny G Plate held a meeting with Qualcomm President Cristiano Amon. The meeting that took place at the Indonesian Pavilion discussed a number of things, including cooperation in the development of 5G technology

"We are interested in supporting the development of 5G technology in Indonesia. Moreover, we want to increase cooperation in various fields with the Indonesian government," said Cristiano Amon.

In response to the cooperation offer, the Minister of Communication and Information emphasized that his party is open to collaboration in order to support Indonesia's national interests, for example in the initiative to develop a new capital.

The same thing was also conveyed when he was receiving Michael Punke, VP Global Public Policy AWS. In this meeting, both parties discussed several crucial issues such as the realization of the AWS investment plan in Indonesia, protection of personal data, and AWS support for Indonesia's digital economy.
