JAKARTA - Kresna Pictures, part of the Kresna Group, officially announced its investment in "Satria Dewa Gatotkaca", a film by Satria Dewa Studio, holder of intellectual property rights (IPR) in Indonesia. This investment is expected to be a strong step for Kresna Group to be able to expand its reach into the country's creative industries.
Michael Steven, Founder and CEO of Kresna Group and Satria Dewa Gatotkaca Executive Producer explained, "We hope that this investment can be a good step for Kresna Group to be able to penetrate and contribute to the country's creative industry. We are also committed to making "Satria Dewa Gatotkaca" as a film that can restore and enhance the love of Indonesian people, especially the younger generation, for the legend of the homeland, which is packaged in a more modern way to be relevant to current realities."
"Satria Dewa Gatotkaca" is a family film whose story is taken from one of the wayang characters "Gatotkaca", a descendant of the Pandavas who was born as a human being, who must lose everything to save all. The film is scheduled to appear on the big screen in late 2020.
As the beginning of Satria Dewa Gatotkaca film, the event titled "GatotKaca Takeoff" was held on January 23-26, 2020 at the Kota Kasablanka Mall, South Jakarta by releasing a variety of Satria Dewa GatotKaca merchandise to introduce the Satria Dewa GatotKaca universe and its ecosystem to Indonesian film lovers. Not only merchandise, but directors, players, motion comics, e-sport games, websites, and costumes originating from Indonesia are also released at this event. (LM)
