Angkasa Pura II prepares Rp 8 trillion for the construction of Terminal 4 at Soetta

JAKARTA. PT Angkasa Pura II will allocate Rp 8 trillion to build Terminal 4 of the Soekarno Hatta (Soetta) airport, at the request of President Joko Widodo.

Yado Yarismano, VP of Corporate Communication of Angkasa Pura II, said that the design of Terminal 4 will be completed by the end of this year. Meanwhile, construction will begin in early 2021. "Indeed, we are planning to build Terminal 4," Yarismano explained, as quoted by Kontan on Sunday (26/1) yesterday.

Angkasa Pura II plans to build Terminal 4 on a 102 hectares area. The terminal is estimated to be able to accommodate as many as 105 million passengers per year.

At the same time, Angkasa Pura II is also renovating Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. The capacity of the two terminals, said Yarismano, will be doubled. (KR/AR)
